Next Steps

Rambling Chantrix — Thu, 01 Oct 2026 07:00:00 GMT

I don't want to overpromise, but I am working on setting up a proper API and backend. Hopefully the next major site update will include on-site submission forms, with (optional) user accounts to follow. In the meantime I'll keep updating the catalog—and, on that note, we've added 16 new works from Zin Nabelle, Ewan Stone, rosexthorn, Charlotte Marie, and Duil2!

Refactor #2

Rambling Chantrix — Sun, 13 Sep 2026 07:00:00 GMT

Completely rewrote the site's internals, again. Please let me know if you run into any bugs! I've also fixed a issues with sorting the catalog. And, since the last update, we've added 2 games from Jenny5ive and over 20 new stories and books from anita, The Jizz Wizard, Jess Mahler, Emoria Weidner, Jackeline Brie, Omenainen, AwkwardMD, Benjamin Carlisle, Rambling Chantrix, Sigh, Lizzette Monroe, Polly Liticat, and Roscoe G. Beetle!

Work Pages, Recommendations

Rambling Chantrix — Wed, 19 Aug 2026 07:00:00 GMT

Website

work pages! every work in the catalog now has a page with additional info. catalog listings now link to those pages, but they also have an 'external link' icon for easy access to the text itself.
recommendations! each author in the roster can \"recommend\" up to 2 stories in the catalog. stories only display 2 recommendations even if recommended more than twice. these strict limits exist because this feature isn't for stratifying content by popularity, but to encourage author engagement with each other's work and to encourage readers to check out their fave author's interests. contact RC by email or discord to set/update your recommendations.
reduced front page catalog preview from 5 entries to 4, and made it so (hopefully) no author is featured more than once in that list
changed anchor color to reduce eyestrain in light mode
added density toggle on catalog page
added work type filter on catalog page. more filtering tools forthcoming, pwomise

Submission Forms

\"collection\" work type! for anthologies etc.. When submitting a story that's in an anthology, submit both the anthology as a collection AND the story as separate entries. For the collection, set the authors to \"Various\" if there are multiple authors; put your name on the individual work, and add a note to admin that the individual work belongs to the collection.
now supporting works with multiple external URLs. Contact RC by email or discord if you want to add additional links to anything already in the catalog!
you can now set an optional long description when submitting. this displays instead of the short description on work pages.
added more clarifications to various form elements

Catalog

Biggest haul yet: 43 new titles! Stories by anita, Sigh, Rambling Chantrix, Nick Tarras, The Jizz Wizard, and Lizzette Monroe, and a game by WaywardVoidGod!

Author Profiles

Rambling Chantrix — Wed, 15 Jul 2026 07:00:00 GMT

Refactor and Minor Fixes

Rambling Chantrix — Tue, 14 Jul 2026 07:00:00 GMT

Today's update refactors the underlying logic for navigating the site and it hasn't been tested extensively, so please let Rambling Chantrix know if you run into any bugs. Other changes:

Improved display of author links on mobile.
Now showing the catalogue table by default, but with a few randomized entries. Can expand to see the full table.
Now hiding synopses in the catalogue table by default on mobile.
Improved buttons and scaffolding for expanding and collapsing the full catalogue and roster.
Redid the homepage news section to only have 1 entry, with links to the /news page with all, the news feed, and the new /roadmap page.
